Connecting to dragonfly3 on ChromeOS or Chromebook

Wi-Fi Connection Instructions – DrexelGuest

1.     From the list of available networks, select "DrexelGuest."

2.     Open a browser and go to http://drexelguest.drexel.edu.

3.     When prompted, enter your email address and click OK to continue.

4.     If you encounter a privacy error, click on Advanced, which should redirect you to the same http://drexelguest.drexel.edu page.

o   If not redirected, manually enter the URL and proceed by entering your email address.


Connecting to DragonFly3

1.     Keep all default settings unchanged.

2.     Scroll down to "Domain Suffix Match" and ensure it is set to drexel.edu.

3.     In the Identity field, enter your abc123 username.

4.     In the Password field, enter your DrexelOne password.

5.     Click Connect to complete the setup.


Clearing DNS Cache in Chrome

1.     Open Google Chrome.

2.     In the address bar, enter: chrome://net-internals/#dns

3.     Click the "Clear host cache" button.


Adjusting Network Access Flags in Chrome

1.     Go to: chrome://flags

2.     Locate and configure the following settings:

o   Block insecure private network requests → Leave on Default or Enable (if students need access to non-secure sites).

o   Ignore Private Network Access errors for worker-related requests → Leave on Default or Enable.

o   Ignore Private Network Access errors for navigation-related requests → Leave on Default or Enable.

3.     Click Restart to apply changes.


Disable 'Always Use Secure Connections' in Chrome

1.     Open a new Chrome tab and click the three dots () in the top right corner.

2.     Go to Settings > Privacy and Security > Security.

3.     Scroll down and turn off "Always use secure connections."

4.     Under Safe Browsing, select "No protection" (for specific use cases only; not recommended for general browsing).
