Microsoft Planner & Lists

Microsoft Planner & Lists

For SharePoint, try going here: https://drexel0.sharepoint.com/_layouts/15/sharepoint.aspx

  • If that fails, Give alternative options below, Drexel IT will likely not give you access to Kanban as that will probably be a paid license for the entire university or a lot of people to activate that.
    • It's worth giving a call or separate email, though.
    • But... you have similar options through https://microsoft365.com
    • ...after you sign in with your Drexel userid@drexel.edu and Drexel password. Log in with MFA.
    • Try in a private or incognito tab first, in case another Microsoft account causes confusion.
    • Click on your desired Sharepoint workspace
    • You should see a button that says + New , click on it
    • You will have two options to choose from, select the one that fits your goals:
    • #1 Planner at https://planner.cloud.microsoft/ > Create a new Plan.  You'll have buckets that are like Kanban columns.
    • #2 Lists at https://lists.microsoft.com > Create a new list, try the Boards option

    Alternative Options:

    • Go to https://microsoft365.com in a private or incognito tab (to make sure no other Microsoft accounts are interfering)
    • Sign in with your Drexel userid@drexel.edu and Drexel password, approve MFA, click "Apps" in the left nav,
    • Then "All Apps ->" small link on right side. Hopefully, Sharepoint is there and available.

If you have a Team in Microsoft Teams:

    • Click the "Teams" icon in the left nav. Not a chat.
    • You need to go to your actual Team page in Teams for this. Then find your Team in the 2nd left panel.
    • If you cannot find your Team, look below or collapse Favorite, and look under "Teams and channels." Once you find your Team, click the General channel under your Team name.
    • Then on your Teams page, you should see at the top of the page General, Posts, Files, etc Click the plus sign at the top of your Teams page, search for Sharepoint.
    • Click it. Then for "Add content to your Teams channel from...", choose ex. "CCI Commons Student Assistants," select "Documents" to add, and click "Save." Hopefully, that should let you create a SharePoint site.
    • You can also add a Planner or Lists here as well.
