Nvivo
Introduction
NVIVO Software, which is statistical analysis software, is available in Software Center on Windows Drexel machines and Self Service on Mac Drexel machines. It is also available at no cost to Drexel students via On the Hub.
Basic Instructions - for Faculty, Staff.
You should normally be able to install NVivo directly through the software center. Anyone with a Drexel laptop should install NVIVO through either the Software Center (under Microsoft Endpoint in the Start menu) or Self Service. If you are on a personal computer, please follow the steps below.
Students & Personal Computers
Drexel Students, Staff, and Faculty can install NVIVO on personal laptops via On the Hub by doing the following:
- Go to DrexelOne > Campus+Community > scroll down, look in middle of page at "Hardware and Software" > OnTheHub > Faculty and Staff > NVIVO
- Add NVivo to your cart and checkout.
- You will then see a key and a button prompting you to download the installer from On the Hub.
- Run the installer from On the Hub and complete the installation, using the key provided by On the Hub to license your copy of NVivo.
If you need a license key for NVivo, you should access On the Hub in the same way and just copy the key given to you after you press the checkout button, you do not need to redownload the installer.
Anyone with a Drexel laptop should install NVIVO through either the Software Center (under Microsoft Endpoint in the Start menu) or Self Service.
Troubleshooting & Important information
If NVIVO is not appearing in Software Center or Self-Service, and the person is off campus, use TeamViewer or get the person to connected to Drexel's VPN and just leave the computer on and connected to VPN for 30 minutes to an hour, and then try again. Have Software Center and Self-Service closed during this time, and make sure the computer doesn't go to sleep. NVIVO should appear.

Someone off-campus *MUST* connect by Drexel VPN to properly download and use Software Center and Self-Service.
