Office 365 -- OneDrive -- Restore Deleted File or Folder in Online Web Portal
When you delete file or folders in OneDrive, the files often remain in the online OneDrive web portal, and you can easily restore these files or folders.
Here's how to restore files or folders deleted from in your online OneDrive web portal.
1. Visit https://portal.office.com in your internet browser, and login with your Drexel email (the one with your DrexelOne login in it) and with your Drexel password.
2. Click the "OneDrive" tile.
3. Click "Recycle bin" in the left-hand navigation panel.
4. Locate the file or folder you deleted, and check the circle in front of that file or folder.
(a) You can check multiple files or folders.
5. Click "Restore item."
6. Wait 10-20 seconds. (Longer for lots of files or folders, or if the size of the data is large or has lots of subfolders.)
7. A pop-up message will appear to tell you when the file has been restored.
(a) The file(s) or folder(s) will appear in their original location(s).
8. Click "Files" in the left-hand navigation panel to return to see all your un-deleted OneDrive files and folders in the online web portal.
