Microsoft Teams is very similar to Slack.
Teams is a group messaging or chat application when you can create communication "channels" for select tasks or topics, create messaging groups
- Visit https://teams.microsoft.com or https://portal.office.com (and then click "Teams" logo).
- Or if installed on Windows, click Windows logo or Start menu in lower right, look in "Applications" or "Programs" for either "Teams" or "Microsoft Teams."

Send an Email to a Channel in Teams
- Click Teams in left panel, click a specific Team in 2nd-to-left panel. Click ... in upper right. Click "Get email address." Copy/paste that email address into the "To" field in a new email. Compose your message and send.

Low Volume/Hard-to-hear Audio?
If you are having trouble hearing a professor due to low audio, or bad audio, one possible work-around solution to try is to download/install the Chrome web browser and install the "Volume Master" extension from the Chrome Web Store at the link below.
We cannot find a similar link for Firefox as of yet. The above link has a good chance of working for other Chrome-based web browsers, such as the new Microsoft Edge and the Brave web browser, as well, which may be less resource intensive on your computer
